Sparkly HR was born from a personal pain point: how to find people who are not only technically qualified but truly aligned with the team and company on a human level? Mikk Orglaan, Sparkly's founder, spent over 20 years building tech companies and later became an investor. Over the years, he saw one pattern repeat: a "sparkly-eyed" candidate often turned out to be the wrong hire when deeper alignment was missing.
In 2025, he decided to tackle the issue head-on. Sparkly's mission is to make recruitment meaningful — to go beyond CVs and first-impression enthusiasm and understand each candidate's personal traits and how they fit with the actual team and role.
