The Sparkly HR story
Sparkly HR was born from a personal pain point: how to find people who are not only technically qualified but truly aligned with the team and company on a human level? Mikk Orglaan, Sparkly’s founder, spent over 20 years building tech companies and later became an investor. Over the years, he saw one pattern repeat: a “sparkly-eyed” candidate often turned out to be the wrong hire when deeper alignment was missing.
In 2025, he decided to tackle the issue head-on. Sparkly’s mission is to make recruitment meaningful — to go beyond CVs and first-impression enthusiasm and understand each candidate’s personal traits and how they fit with the actual team and role.
We believe that when a person and a role are deeply aligned, the result is a collaboration where everyone wins — the employee, the team, and the company.

Meet our founder
Our founder brings together expertise from business development and administration, recruiting and HR, technology, marketing, sales, customer care to drive our mission forward. He is also business advisor and mentor privately and for a list of European startup accelerators. He has built and exited multiple times tech businesses. This is his biggest challenge ever, but it’s worth giving his best.
